The Great Yorkshire Show’s new format of a 4-day show proved successful for the organisers when summer was confirmed with 4 glorious days of sunshine at the event. Tom and Kay Hutchinson and family from Bail Hill, Forest in Teesdale, claimed the Swaledale Championship with their homebred shearling gimmer, with John Dixon, sons Steven and James taking reserve with their aged ram, bred by Thomas Brogden.
