D District Tup Sale to be held on 13th October 2020 will be held at Barnard Castle Auction Mart.

The D District Council members have held site meetings at both St John’s Chapel and Barnard Castle auction marts and having received advice from the LAA/Trading Standards surrounding the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions,  we have had to make the difficult decision to request our sale be moved for this year.

Prior to presenting this request to the SSBA Council we consulted with the Tup Sale Committee, D District members and regular purchasers. With general opinion being that this is the best option given the circumstances and that our ultimate goal is to see the 2020 sale go ahead in these strange and uncertain times. We have presented our case to the SSBA Council and it has been agreed that for this year our sale will hosted at Barnard Castle.

With Sale guidelines ever changing due to Covid-19 restrictions, any updates will be available nearer the time.
