Once again, a small number forward at the sale, but an outstanding quality of sheep. Topping the sale was the pre-sale Champion, judged by
Robert White, from John & Louis Bland off Mossdale, sired by a homebred son of Delboy and inlamb to the £25,000 Rukin, she told for £3,800
to Richard Sellars, Sycamore Farm.

Robbie Hallam was once again in the prize winners, securing Reserve Champion with his gimmer shearling. Inlamb to Ghyll House Notorious and sired by the Beck Head tup, she sold for the second highest price of the sale, £3500, to John Tully, Burncroft.
Other leading prices included a gimmer shearling from JR & SL Pratt selling for £1800 to the Robinson family at Catlow. Selling for £1500 was a 3-crop ewe from DJ Coates, bred by the late Eric Coates. She was sired by a grandson of the £38,000 Bull & Cave Impress and inlamb to Ghyll House Omigod, she was purchased by Max Hutchinson, Redgate.

Lewis Staley very generously donated a gimmer hogg to the PAPYRUS Charity, she went on to sell for £800 to Laurie Blades, Little Ings. Included in the sale was a Shepherds Crook made and kindly donated by Graham Rennie, also raising money for the PAPYRUS Charity, selling for £450 to Martin Wilson, Arngill House.
