The Diamond Delights show and sale of Swaledale Stars held on behalf of the Swaledale Sheep Breeders Association had a nice entry forward. The pre sale show judging was in the capable hands of Ricky Hutchinson, who awarded the champion rosette to the one crop ewe consigned by T Brogden, Helbeck. Sired by Kisdon Odyssey, and scanned with twins to Helbeck Unique, she sold for £700 to M/s Parkinson, Hareden.
The reserve champion, from TW Hutchinson, Bail Hill, was the 2nd prize aged ewe. This three crop ewe, whose mother won the Great Yorkshire Show, scanned twins, and sold for £500 to M/s Staley, Kaber.
